Ndejje University optimizes resource-usage through wastage control and waste recycling. The students’ clubs focus on; 1) minimizing wastage; 2) using food left-overs as poultry, rabbits and fish feeds; 3) observing zero littering; 4) managing waste; 5) producing pavers/pompeys using silt from water-drainage channels; 6) harvesting water for routine use; 7) practice solar-powered irrigation for backyard/off-ground vegetable farming. The students’ clubs also engage High-school students and community-youths via five stages of experiential learning.
